Wall Mounted Kitchen Faucets

Preference and personal styles are a big consideration when buying faucets for the home.  There are just as many makes and models sold to fit the personality of the consumer. Due to a pipe burst, I had to make changes in my kitchen. I decided it was time to upgrade my look and started shopping for wall mounted kitchen faucets. Brass finishes are one of the hot new looks I found at Lowe's. I ended up not purchasing what I needed from the selection of wall mounted kitchen faucets, but did find a brass fixture for my bathroom sink.

I choose first a faucet that catches my eye. Then comes the make of the faucet because we all want to buy a product that will stand up over time, especially with children in the house.  Children can be very rough on a faucet and I needed good quality. Next, I look at price to see if the cost is within my budget.

I am relentless in my search for a faucet or any product. I go from store to store to find the bests price. I also looked at every make of faucet in each store that I visit. A personal favorite for me is Kohler. It is the choice that usually comes home with me as I like their style and feel it is a quality faucet. But, I also will check out American Standard, Kingston, Brass, Moen with spray, Vintage models and Oil Rubbed Bronze. And how could I forget Ikea. I can easily shop all day in that store and be perfectly happy. They have good pricing on faucets as they do other items.

I shopped alone for this faucet as my husband does not have the patience or persistence I do. I really looked at every company and the selection they have. In other words, I did my homework and made the best choice for myself. I chose two faucets as I loved them equally. One will be put into use now and the other I will pack away and when I need a change, the one I stored away will be put into service.

Selecting A Right Sink For Your Kitchen

By Troy Welker
Kitchen sinks are primarily broken up into two distinctive styles, drop in and the now popular undermount sinks. The drop in sink is the most versatile because it can be utilized in any countertop surface, whereas the undermount is primarily restricted to solid surface countertops. The hottest sink on the market for style today is without a doubt the stainless steel undermount sink because it gives a very clean line to the countertop and is now the option of choice for most new homes with granite and other types of solid surface.

Kitchen Faucets 101 - Designs and Finishes

By Joe Arthur
Most of us are used to defining a kitchen faucet as having the ubiquitous chrome or stainless steel finish. True, these chrome colored finishes are beautiful and shiny; but as home and kitchen decor standards have risen and become more varied, people have become more adventurous and want more special finishes.
